This Australian made polyester cord is 4.5mm diameter is excellent for use as guy rope.  With the internat strands and strong protective outer woven layer it will support over 300Kg.  More than enough for the portable masts even with 15kg payloads  in strong winds.
 
This cord is sold in 100M rolls or in ready made guys in 5, 10, 15, 20, 25M lengths comprising stainless steel snap hooks and either self locking devices or Nato Green locking cleats that can be used with gloves and are not effected by snow or ice.
